So, I've read this blog post www.positivelypositive.com/201… so many times. Whenever I feel like I'm losing my way or forgetting why I'm walking the path I am I read it again. Among other things it poses three questions.

What is most important to you?

What makes you happy?

What would you do for free?

It talks about making three priorities, that if you have more than three then you might as well have none, the point being that if you spread yourself between too many priorities then they aren't a priority at all.

It also introduced me to the Maker's Schedule www.paulgraham.com/makerssched… the idea is that creators work on entirely different schedules than non-creators. Of course, I think this is something we artists have known for some time but it's nice being validated on something that makes you question your sanity so much. Being an artist is crazy work. Anyway, read this shit, it's good for you.

Thank you for sharing this. That scheduling style (in Amber's post) made me terribly excited. Right now school is coming down hard on me and I haven't had any time for exercise or fun. And it is wearing on me. I feel like...stuff...today. Exhausted. I need to think about this post. It brings up a lot of good thoughts.

Thank you again!

That's funny you should write this. :D I've actually been putting together a project of my own that's kind of similar to this, only it focuses on finding happiness by first becoming a better person.
I've only just started to work on it, but when I have it all written down in some organized manner, I think I might post it online so it can help others. :)

I think becoming genuinely happy makes you a better person by default, assuming you aren't a sadist that is.

Well, I see it the other way around, but that's just me. :)
